Home Depot Is Bringing Home Improvement To Ten HBCU Campuses

Home Depot has been providing funding for HBCUs across the country to renovate their campuses for 10 years, and now the company plans to increase the amount of money given when it announces the winners of its "Retool Your School" program on Monday in Atlanta. 

Ten HBCUs will receive a total of $500,000 from Home Depot for everything from classroom refurbishment to medical facility upgrades. The company has given a total of $2.1 million to HBCUs since the program started in 2009 . . .
