A London mother has created a range of cuddly toys aimed at opening up conversations around different conditions.

From a girl with a prosthetic leg to a little boy with Down’s syndrome, Winnie Mak hopes her dolls will help teach both parents and children more about mental health and wellbeing.

Winnie, originally from Hong Kong, and her Franco-Greek husband Rafael Tselikas were struck by the lack of diversity among toys.

Driven by a desire for their mixed heritage son to be surrounded by characters of different ethnicities and genders, they launched the One Dear World brand in 2017.
